🪪Student IDs
- All students are required to wear an identification card at all times while on school property on the front of their person at above waist level.
- At or before 8 a.m. all students without an ID will be sent to Door 4 where they will be escorted to the bookkeeper to purchase a new card. Identification cards are $3 each. Lanyards are an additional $3. Students unable to pay at that time will have the cost charged to their student accounts. Payments can be made at Southeast High or by calling 316-973-2700 and directed to the bookkeeper.
- Students with 3 or More replacement ID's will have to serve an afterschool detention on Tuesday or Thursday from 3:30-6:00 PM
✅Tardys
- Sweeps begin at 8:00 SCHOOL STARTS AT 8 DON'T BE LATE
- First hall Sweep, students will report to E-hall upper or lower level to check in. The student will receive a written note reminding them of their lunch detention for the next day, and then walked to class.
- Admin. Assistants will send a written reminder the next morning. This is a courtesy reminder only. It is the student’s responsibility to attend detention.
- Multiple hall sweeps in one day equals a level 1 violation and the student is sent to their Alpha Administrator and put in Synergy as truancy with an ISS referral.
- Missed lunch detention, warning and assigned for the next day.
- Second missed lunch detention, assign after school detention (Tuesday or Thursday)
- Missed after school detention, assign ISS for following day. Parents will be contacted.
📋Attendance
- Any tardies and/or absences are required to be called in by parents/ guardians as soon as possible to the Attendance Office at 316-973-2701.
- Parents/ guardians needing to their student to exit the building during the school day are asked to enter the building and speak with the attendance clerk in order for their student to be released.
📱Cell Phones
- The Wichita Public School District has a no cell phone in the classroom policy. Students will not be allowed to use their cell phones in class for any reason. Cell phones are permitted before school, during passing periods, lunch break, and after school. Teacher will implement the C.P.R. guidelines during class. Students that are observed using their phones will be asked to put it away. If there is continued usage, the student will be sent to their administrator and phone confiscated for the remainder of the day.
🚪Scanners
- Students will be scanned upon entering the building at all times. Stationery and hand scanners are utilized at Southeast High School.
