SE Student Government (StuGo)
The Student Government (StuGo) is the only school organization at Southeast that is representative of the entire student body. The promotion of leadership, scholarship, citizenship, and student involvement is a major goal. The enhancements of school pride and spirit are also major functions of the government. Freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior class councils work with the StuGo to unify all school functions. One Class President and six members from each class form the representation. Election of upperclassmen occurs during the spring semester, and the freshmen are elected after the start of school in the fall.
The executive officers and class sponsors meet each month during lunch on the first Wednesday of the month and all StuGo members meet for a General Meeting at 7:15 a.m. in downstairs G hall Tech Wing on the first Friday of the month.
