Southeast Student Council

Student Council (STUCO) is a KSHSAA-sponsored leadership organization that represents the entire student body. Its mission is to promote leadership, scholarship, citizenship, student involvement, and school spirit. STUCO also plays a key role in organizing and unifying school-wide events and functions.
STUCO is responsible for planning and coordinating major school events such as Homecoming, Prom, Spirit Weeks, and other activities that promote student engagement and school pride.
To be eligible for STUCO, students must have earned a minimum 2.5 GPA and passed at least five classes during the previous school year.
STUCO is composed of:
- Class Representatives: Up to 10 members per grade level (Freshman–Senior)
- Class Presidents: One per grade level
- Student Body Officers: One Student Body President and one Vice President, who help lead the council across all grade levels
Elections for upperclassmen (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) take place during the spring semester. Freshman elections are held in the fall, after the school year begins.
