Extended Learning Opportunity

Summer ELO (May 27–30)

  • You must have a final grade between 50% and 59% (or .85 to 1.00 on the SRG scale) in a course that is required for graduation.
  • Not all courses are eligible for ELO, so eligibility depends on both your grade and the specific course.

How to Find Out if You Qualify:

  • Check your student email on Saturday, May 24.
  • If you receive an email titled "ELO Opportunity," you are eligible to recover at least one class through ELO.
  • Your parent or guardian will also receive an email informing them of your eligibility.

Do Not Attend If:

  • You do not receive the email titled "ELO Opportunity" on May 24. That means you are not eligible and should not attend the program.

ELO Dates and Times:

  • May 27th to May 30th
  • 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • No transportation or meals (breakfast or lunch) will be provided, so please plan accordingly.

Time Commitment:

  • You are only required to stay for as long as it takes you to raise your grade to 60% or higher.
  • This could mean staying for just one hour, one day, or the entire four days — it depends on how much work you need to complete and how focused you are during your time.
