- Dawn Buth, '95 (Tennis) member of NCAA National Championship Team at the Univ. of Florida.
- Mona Alexander, '93 (Gymnastics) competed for the USAF Academy.
- Anne Mahoney, '90 (Swimming) National Champion for Stanford Univ.
- Leon Edwards, '89 (Football) All-Time leading rusher in City history.
- Rhain Buth, '89 (Tennis) Four time State Champion, High School All-American.
- Kareema Williams, '88 (Basketball) Girls career scoring leader, 3 time All-State selection and Division I scholarship to North Carolina and WSU.
- Soyoung Lee, ' 87 (Tennis) National High School Tennis All-American in 1987.
- Jeff Smith, '80 (Football) All-State running back, 5 seasons in NFL, only Parade High School All-American from Wichita, SE football jersey retired in 1997.

- National Champions in baseball for the 1978 season.
- Southeast has won 89 League Championships and 33 State Championships in boys competition.
- Southeast has won 37 League Championships and 7 State Championships in girls competition.
- Head coaches are all classroom teachers, representing ten different curriculum areas.
- Our head coaches have a combined total of 320 years of coaching experience.
- Our coaching staff will teach, inspire, advise, and motivate.
- Southeast offers 20 different sports, the most in the Wichita City League, and all that are sponsored by the state.
- Each year, our varsity program is complemented by a combined 26 different developmental teams that compete at the junior varsity, sophomore, or freshmen level.
- Last year, 289 boys and 229 girls represented Southeast as members of athletic teams - the most of any school in Wichita.
