Safe and Civil Parent Survey

We need your opinion!
Our school is committed to providing a safe and encouraging place for your child. You can help us continue to make improvements to our school by completing a short online survey.

Students in grades 3–12 and all staff at every school in the district are participating in the TRENDS® Climate and Safety Survey. We want to know what you think, too. All responses are anonymous. The resulting data will allow us to see if the three groups—parents/guardians, students, and staff—agree or disagree about important issues. We will be able to identify what we are doing well and what we need to work on, such as safety in a particular location of the school, students’ understanding of the expectations for behavior, or communication with families.

It’s quick and easy!

Click here for more information and to complete the survey.

Thank you for your continued support of Southeast High School.

Pre-Season Athletes of the Year for the Wichita-Metro Area

Southeast High School's Kylie Fox, class of 2015, was recently honored by Mel Hambelton Ford and the Wichita Eagle, as one of five Pre-Season Athletes of the Year for the Wichita-Metro area.  The five ladies selected represent the peak of academic and athletic excellence and are chosen from a pool of over 1,000 candidates.  Kylie wishes to thank Mel Hambelton Ford and the Wichita Eagle for honoring her with this award and acknowledges this opportunity can only be afforded to her through the unwavering support of her family, coaches, teammates, and the Southeast community!

Bio:        Kylie Fox is the daughter of Mickey and Marci Fox and is currently a senior at Southeast High School.  She is an active participant in volleyball, softball, madrigals, National Honor Society, and Freshmen Mentoring with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 while taking a plethora of honors and AP classes.  Over the course of her first three high school softball seasons, Kylie has amassed a career .535 batting average with 29 doubles, 11 triples, 42 RBI, 76 runs scored, and a .983 fielding percentage.  Kylie has been named a unanimous first-team all-city league player for 3 years, a first-team all-metro player once, and a second-team all-state performer.  Last year, Kylie Fox led the Southeast Buffaloes to their best record in school history while batting .695 and committing only one error splitting time between pitcher, catcher, and short stop.  Kylie has yet to decide which college she will attend, but enters her senior season with an opportunity to continue re-writing the Southeast softball record books.
